Just a quick update on all the activity currently taking place at SA Rally-Raid.

With rounds one and two of the championship now behind us and round three, the Toyota Gazoo Racing Kalahari Botswana 1000 Desert Race (TGR 1000) a mere five weeks away, we are all hard at work making sure everything is in place.

Preparations for the TGR 1000 are progressing nicely, albeit slowly, but we will keep you all posted. Make sure you have read the Crossing the Border document and that you take heed of the advice.

Round Four and Five, the Parys 400 on 18 and 19 August, has a new home and will be located at the Afridome. More information regarding available accommodation etc. will be forthcoming in the next couple of weeks, but we are excited by the venue change.

Then we move onto the Renergen 400 on 6 and 7 October at the Phakisa Raceway. Preparations are underway but more details will follow soonest.

Then for the final round on 10 and 11 November, you have all been waiting for, the Waterberg 400.
The event will take place from the Koedoeskop Laerskool, situated on the R516 in the direction of Northam. The venue has all the facilities required, a very excited community and a by all account a spectacular route taking in the beauty of this scenic Limpopo area.

The venue is situated approximately 35 kilometres from Northam, 45 kilometres from Thabazimbi and 85 kilometres from Bela Bela.
