We are pleased to advise, that with the enthusiastic support of Nelis van der Westhuizen and the landowners in the Parys and Vredefort areas, we are able to host the Parys 400 as round six and seven of the SA Rally-Raid Championship on Friday and Saturday 11 and 12 November 2022.
This kind deed means that we do not forfeit a round of the championship due to the cancellation of the #TeamHilux Rally-Raid Sugarbelt 400 in April, after the province experienced unprecedented flooding and humanitarian devastation.
“The Parys 400 will comprise two one day events, run over two separate routes and will again be accommodated at the Parys Airfield on the outskirts of the town. “The route has not been finalised as yet, however, the support for the event has been incredible and we are looking forward to a befitting end to the season,” said route director Rudi Muller.
